The LibDems' Unique Special Offer

I needn't have wasted my time. And the same goes for hundreds of others here in Stockwood. Every one of us objected to the proposed sell-off of publicly-owned green spaces in Stockwood.

Just one of the spaces - the 'Craydon Road North Open Space' - actually was saved.

But we can't even claim any part in that little victory. It wasn't us, all the credit must go to our LibDem candidate in the elections. One hundred per cent.

We know, because he says so. Repeatedly.
On his election literature....

On his blog....

.....and, apparently, on the doorstep.

For those who believe him, the conclusion is inescapable.

A Lib Dem administration will respond to one of its own candidates, while ignoring local councillors, community groups, and residents.

Best vote them out on Thursday, then.

It's amazing how much the individual effort of Lib Dem councillors does to the benefit of our communities in Bristol.

In my own ward of Lawrence Hill, Lib Dem candidate (and former Easton Lib Dem councillor) Abdul Malik is busy bombarding residents with printed dead trees telling us what a marvellous job he's been doing to rid St Mark's Road of prostitution. I've lived just off St Mark's Road for 30+ years and the instances of prostitution have been so minimal as to be almost non-existent.

Finally, after debating on Twitter with Cllr Jon Rogers, I'm convinced the Bristol in which the local Lib Dems live is in a parallel universe.
