Re Computers for Schools, may I quote Muriel Sparks' 'The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie':

"Give me a girl at an impressionable age and she is mine for life."

Nowadays it's also termed vendor-lock-in.

Tesco's tactics of exploiting kids to promote their sales (and profits) could also be regarded as child abuse.

Same goes for Labour.

How many of those kids will end up being functionally illiterate and incapable of independent thought but having a pile of quack "qualifications" after they've been spoonfed through one of Labour's institutions.

Typical to see so-called Labour cosying up with Big Business too.

A week ago, I posted a comment on Kerry's blog after she mentioned presenting this 'award' to the Tesco Tots:

"Kerry, do you really think it's wise to be associated with such a blatant intrusion of corporate marketing into primary education?"
